Every now and then I will post some of my favorite items under a certain price tag amount. Today, I am going to start with a few for under $15! Most of the items I will talk about have been personally used by me, or someone whose opinion I value. Like I have said before, I research to a fault, and even if the price tag is under $15, I still watch my spending. (Besides, it just gives me more money in my pocket to spend later!)

CHICOBAG VITA rePETe – $9.99
This bag is designed to wear on your shoulder and is manufactured out of 99% recycled materials. It shoves perfectly inside your purse (and an awesome way to bring an extra bag while traveling), and if you are anything like me, you never remember to bring in your “green” bags from the car when doing a little grocery shopping. It holds up to 40 lbs (seriously, it does) and is totally washable. My awesome bf bought one for me for Christmas this year (and at the time, I was like, ummm, what is this?), but it has quickly become one of my favorite little items. I have it shown in my fave color, purple, but it also comes in five other colors. It is a perfect way to go green!

Bristols6 Hem Tape – $12.00
Bristols6 Hem Tape is an awesome way to hem your pants when you don’t have enough time (or often in my case, money) to get your stuff to the tailor. It is not worth wrecking the bottoms of your jeans when you can solve the problem for $12. Although I much prefer to keep an original hem on my clothes, this works instantly and is very effective. You don’t have to iron anything on, and it is as simple as using double-sided tape! This is another great item to bring along traveling as you never know when you might need to fix a hem (or if you find some great pants abroad that need a little taken off the bottom!), and they won’t take up much space.
Tweezerman Slant Mini – $15
From Tweezerman.com: The perfect “on the go” tweezer, this smaller version of the Tweezerman award-winning Slant fits any tiny purse or tiny budget — now in Special Edition Hot for Dot Prints! The ideal size for make-up and travel bags, our mini features the same perfect precision as its full size version. Stainless steel, available in 3 multi-colored, polka dot print enamel color finishes. I LOVE my Tweezerman and have one in their larger size. Now they have a smaller version which is perfect when trying to save space.
Bumble and Bumble Surf Spray – $19.99
Ok, ok, I know it’s not under $15, but I just can’t say enough about this product. It makes my hair Victoria’s Secret sexy. I found the best way to use it is to allow my hair to fully dry (I tend to wash at night, and put it in a bun to sleep). If you put your hair in a bun, it will allow it to create or enhance your natural waves/curls. Once I take it out of the bun, I spray a little all over my head, flip upside down, and scrunch. Voila! Gorgeous, sexy hair. You may want to check your nearest Ulta store and bring one of their famous coupons (they don’t sell B&B online). Burt’s Bees Lip Shimmer – $5
This stuff is purely awesome. 100% natural and gives my lips the perfect amount of lip sheen. I love all the colors it comes in and it really gives your pucker a nice tinted hue. From Burt’s Bees - A kiss of color and pearlized shine perk up our world famous 100% natural lip balm, while natural ingredients like vitamin E and coconut and sunflower oils moisturize and soothe your lips. Choose from 11 yummy, all natural shades: Champagne, Raisin, Merlot, Rhubarb, Watermelon, Nutmeg, Fig, Cocoa, Toffee, Guava and Papaya.
Smith’s Rosebud Salve – $6
Smith’s Rosebud Salve has been around since 1895. It has a major cult following and something that every woman should own. Heck, I know men even love it. Here is what Smith’s has to say about it: this world-famous salve has been re-discovered by Hollywood stars and makeup artists. Rosebud Salve is still a favorite to aid in the relief of chapped and dry skin, blemishes, diaper rash, and detergent burns. Rosebud Salve is also a wonderful lip moisturizer and natural looking lip gloss. It moisturizes dry lips, calms and heals irritation, and soothes the sting of minor burns. Try dabbing on dry elbows or knees to condition, and relieve dryness. Also an excellent remedy for the treatment of diaper rash. The original flagship product, Smith’s Rosebud Salve remains our top seller. A glossy, non-sticky, non-waxy, texture makes this balm stand out. Only a dab is necessary, ensuring that one tin lasts a very long time! Mix with lipstick for extra shine. During allergy and cold season, dab on a dry, irritated nose to relieve discomfort.
I’d love to hear your favorite items under $15! Should you have any suggestions and think I should feature them here, just let me know. Enjoy!
Love, K.
