There is nothing better than visiting a farmer’s market while on vacation or even while at home. With the fresh fruits and vegetables, freshly baked breads, and home made jams and jellies, the fresh cut flowers, and home made sweets, it’s a great way to see what the region has to offer. If I am ever visiting a place that has an outdoor market, it’s definitely on my top five list of things to do. I find it fascinating seeing what the foods of the region are, how the locals shop, and participating in the lives of those who live there.
